Absolute safety for persons and material

In a standard PV installation, modules are connected together to create strings. The voltage of those strings can reach several hundred volts DC. As long as the modules are illuminated by the Sun, the PV field presents this high voltage.

In case of an intervention on the installation, there is a serious electrical hazard. Firemen are particularly exposed to electrocution in case of fire intervention.

A real positive safety cut-off:

The SPB is the only solution on the market that offer a positive safety on the DC side of the installation for each single module. This interruption doesn't need any signal and is not semi-conductor driven.

This safety cut-off eliminates the high voltage risk for firemen or maintenance operators.
